Appleın piyasada ki iPhoneları yavaşlattığı ortaya çıkmıştı ve Apple gibi Intelde iddialara göre güvenlik açıklarından dolayı işlemcilerini yavaşlatacak. Intelin son 10 yılda ürettiği işlemcilerde ortaya çıkan güvenlik açığı, isteyen kişilerin işlemci ön belleğine ulaşabilmesine izin veriyordu. Intel şirketi de bunun önüne geçmek içinde bazı yollara başvuruyor. Bunlardan biride işlemcilerini yavaşlatacak. Intel resmi bir açıklama gerçekleştirdi.
