I'm looking for an old house at Silivri city which was the birthplace of Dimitrios Semelas at 1884.

If you know it I would like a photo of it and its exact mail address.

Dimitrios Semelas was a Greek minority resident, and later he went for studies at Instabul.
I guess it must be a very old house. I am planning to visit Silivri and I would like to find and photograph this specific house for a friend of mine which he is a relative to this old family. Maybe the local Greek minority (if there is still any today) know this specific house
I know I'm asking a lot, but I thought your company would be the proper one to make this favor for me.

Dimitrios Semelas ın 1884 de doğduğu şehir olan Silivri de bir ev (onun doğmuş olduğu) arıyorlarmış.
Bilginiz varsa bir fotosunu ve açık adresini rica ediyorlar.
Daha sonra istanbul a okumaya gitmiş olan bir yunan azınlık vatandaşıymış bu kişi. Bu eski aileyle uzaktan akrabalığı bulunan bir arkadaşı için siliviryi ziyaret edip bu özel evi bulmak ve fotoğrafını çekmek istiyormuş. Belki yerel yunan halkı bu evi biliyordur demiş.
Çok istekte bulunuyorum ama firmanız bu iyiliği bana yapacak uygun bir firmadır diye düşünmüştüm diyor.

He is a relative to a friend of me that lives now in Athens and he asked me if I could help him. He said that it is realy important for him to find this house. I don't know were his house was to show it to you on Google earth. Only things I know is that he was born there and then he went for studies in Instabul to the so called French school and then he went to Egypt, then to Athens were he studied as a doctor and finaly he lived in Paris and Egypt for the rest of his life.

He was from a rich family and that gives hopes that his house is preserved as an old classic one to this day.

I have to thank you very very much for your interest. I have many friends in Turkey and my grandmother is from "Myriofiton" now called Murefte.

Also my father is from Malkara. My grandfather and grandmother spoke Greek and Turkish fluently. For me, all we just are Thraces (you Turkish Thraces and us here Greek Thraces).

Personally I was born at Thessaloniki and my house is only five minutes from the old birthhouse of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. So many things to unite us.. Always believed that Greeks and Turks are one family. They possess the only point on map where West and East culture are totaly one
and the same from ancient years.

I trully hope that Turkey will become EU member and France will just back off because we must be one country again under the EU flag so Turkish and Greek populations will be able (if they want) to return to their grandfathers birth places. Also with the same coin the Euro our economies will become one and the old west-east market of the old times will come back to life again.
Wars destroyed us both and so our econimies. Time for peace again. Time to live at the same neighborhoods again in Greece and Turkey. Time to come back home again..

Even my last name is half Turkish and half Greek. Karas = (Black) and Panagiotis = (Holy mother). The exact meaning of my last name is "Black holy mother" which is adored at some places in Spain. Another example of multiculture reality in our lands.
