Windows İşletim sisteminde hosts dosyasının yeri C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc (Eğer sisteminiz farklı bir klasöre kuruluysa C:\Windows\ yerine uygun klasörü yazın.)
Dizindeki host dosyasını Notepad ile açın.
ipadresi siteismi.com şeklinde yazın. kaydedin. Bilgisayarınız o ipdeki site üzerinden açılacaktır.
Bu dosyayı değiştirmek için yönetici yetkilerine sahip olmamız lazım. Her ne kadar "Yönetici", "Administrator" olsak da, hosts dosyasını değiştirmek için kullandığımız uygulama, örneğin Not Defteri (notepad) Yönetici yetkileriyle açılmış olmalıdır.
