In an effort to offer you better performance and stability, we will be migrating all clients on this server to the NAC datacenter. The new server come with RAID for better data integrity and disk i/o and overall better performance. Additionally, it will allow us to implement a better disaster recovery plan in the event of hardware failure.
We will be migrating one client at a time and give you notice regarding any changes you may need to make on your end after the migration is completed.
We ask that on the date the migrations are planned to take place, that you do not update your site's files for 24 hours, to ensure any changes you made last are moved to the new server.
Second, you will be given a dedicated ip which will be shared among your main domain and all subaccounts. If you have private name servers you will need to update the IPs that your name servers use. This will be provided when the migration is completed via email.
The old server will remain online until February 21, 2006 should the need arise for you to retrieve data from the old server. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding the migrations, procedures, or anything related to our services in general or are confused by what you may need to do, please don't hesitate to contact our support department for furthur information.
