We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for using the ProRedirect service.
As you know, ProRedirect is a stand alone DNS service that currently requires you to “add” your domains into ProRedirect account and set up redirections for individual domains or groups to DomainSponsor. We know that this has not been very easy or user-friendly.
In an effort to provide you with a simple and easy-to-manage tool, DomainSponsor is pleased to announce that our free integrated DNS Service will now be available directly through your DomainSponsor publisher interface beginning October 9th, 2006.
Please note: The old DNS service known as ProRedirect will be disabled on October 9th , 2006. To avoid any confusion, please follow the instructions below.
For New domains: Use the new DNS service available through DomainSponsor publisher interface. Add your ‘new’ domains to a portfolio using your DS account and point your domains to the new name servers (given below).
Primary Name Server: NS1.DSREDIRECTION.COM
Primary IP Address: 204.13.160.15
Secondary Name Server: NS2.DSREDIRECTION.COM
Secondary IP Address: 204.13.161.15
For Current domains using ProRedirect: We will automatically add your existing ‘active’ domains from ProRedirect into your portfolio that currently receives the domain traffic. We will also save your current domain settings (using the parameters that you pass in your redirection URL).
The change to the new name servers will be transparent – so you DO NOT need to change anything. It will be that easy!
Benefits of using the new DNS service:
A) Single account-interface to manage your domains, change settings and view stats.
B) Simply add domains to a portfolio using an interface. Move domains in and out of portfolios using the interface without having to modify the redirection code.
C) Change domain settings directly from the interface, rather than having to change the redirection code.
D) View referrer information for individual domains.
