At Layered Technologies we are proud of the pioneering role we've played in the unmanaged server hosting market, as well as the trust we've developed within our community of thousands of clients and partners. We know that this trust is dependent on a number of factors including our ability to provide excellent customer service, market leading products, and highly available facilities and infrastructure.
We also know it is imperative that we put in place the tools that allow us to provide more value and higher levels of service to those who depend on us and, like most other businesses, our underlying costs for providing these services have increased dramatically in the past year. As a result it has become necessary to adjust our pricing effective July 1, 2008.

Service Improvements
In order to better support your needs we've implemented a number of significant measures, many of which are already under way, including:

Implementation of a new enterprise-wide management system to integrate all client touch points and improve response times.
Roll out of new virtualization services to enable a whole range of redundancy, scalability and management features for new and existing clients.
Installation of additional network capacity between data centers for improved redundancy and throughput.
Construction of a new state of the art Network Operations Center to speed service recovery times and detect and prevent issues before they occur.

Pricing Update
As a result of these underlying cost increases, you will notice a price increase on your monthly service charges beginning July 1, 2008 for all month-to-month contracted service prices. The specific increases to your individual servers will be as follows:

Our Level 2 Abuse Admin Fee is $150.00 per hour (minimum 3 hours for Windows Servers). If you wish to have us investigate this server (there is no guarantee that you will not be required a server reload) you must agree to the Minimum 3 Hour fee in a statement within this ticket.
