Google Play Developer Program Policy (Content Policy) Update
As of March 28, 2014 , the new Google Play Developer Program Policy (Content Policy) will be in effect for all new applications submitted to the service. Any pre-existing applications must achieve compliance or be voluntarily unpublished by the developer within 15 days of the issuance of this notification.
We would like to notify you that we have updated the Google Play Developer Program Policy (Content Policy). Improvements include the addition of clarifying language for existing policies as well as the introduction of a new section addressing how you promote your app on Play.
Please visit and familiarize yourself with the above policies. If you find any existing applications in your catalog to be in non-compliance, we ask you to remedy or unpublish the app from Play within 15 calendar days of this notification. After this time period, applications discovered to be in violation may be subject to removal from Google Play. Any newly published applications must adhere to the latest version of the Content Policy for Google Play.

We've updated our content policies to further clarify our stance on sexually explicit material and provide a better experience for our users, including minors
Were introducing the App Promotion policy, which provides guidance on what app promotion tactics are disallowed when promoting your app on Play
Weve introduced a provision that requires you to clearly disclose when an advertised feature in your apps description requires in-app payment
Weve clarified the System Interference policy to prohibit any browser modifications on behalf of third-parties or advertisements
Weve re-emphasized in the Ads Policy that all advertising behavior must be properly attributed to, or clearly presented in context with the app it came along with
