We have not charged your card or taken your money. As per our Business Manager:

"The credit card system works on a basis that credit card processor sends an authorization request for the amount to the purchasing credit card bank. The purchasing cc bank send an authorization for this amount (or not) and then the transaction is ready for completion (the post authorization that we do). If the transaction is not completed (we reject the transaction) the authorization is not cancelled, it has to lapse. The time that it takes to lapse depends on the purchasing cc bank, but generally between 10 & 14 working days.

The processor does not have the money, they only have authorization to take the money. The money can only be taken once the transaction is completed - post authorization. This practice is standard with all credit card companies."
