There is no advange or disadvantege to using .htm versus .html extentions. Most search engines can read html, php, asp, jsp, etc. pages equally well. Whatever extention (and associated coding) you choose, be sure to keep the code clean. While this little detail may not make a huge difference, it can only help you. In the SEO game, a small benefit is still a benefit.
