DIYARBAKIR, Turkey, Dec 1, 2006 (AFP) - 15h18 - Turkish security forces have seized 123 kilograms (270 pounds) of TNT explosives in an operation against the separatist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in the southeast, officials said Friday.

The operation, in a rural area in the province of Sirnak, resulted also in the seizure of some 50 rocket-propelled grenades and other ammunition, the governor's office said in a statement, carried by Anatolia news agency.
