As the Support and Updates for your Owned license expired on 14/03/2014, you are eligible to receive the latest version of WHMCS up until this date. According to our Changelog the version you can use is version 5.3.6.

As version 5.3.6 is no longer supported by our Technical Support team per our Long Term Support schedule we highly recommend that you renew the Support and Updates for your license so you can receive the latest version of 7.0.2.

To renew your Support and Updates, please follow these steps below:

Login at: www.whmcs.com/members
Select your License Key from the Active Products/Services box
On the left you should see a Support and Updates box. Click the Renew/Extend Now link
You will have the option to have Support and Updates for 6 months ($59.95) or 12 months ($99.95)
Click 'Continue' and then 'Checkout' and make your payment
Renewing your support will not only give you access to the latest version of WHMCS but also contact our Support Team anytime you require technical assistance.

I would like to mention that with our newest version 7.0 series, you will no longer need to download any updates and all future updates can be performed automatically by the click of a button. Additionally, with WHMCS Version 7.0, PHP 7 is now compatible. This is probably the most important update since PHP 5 in 2004, as this will increase speed and memory on the product.
