Windows Live Movie Maker (which is a piece of shit btw but it's super fast and everyone with a Windows PC should have it)
Ok so I start by finding source material on Youtube and use deturl to download it. I also look for a song on Youtube. I prefer to find songs that are related in some way to the video, but I don't blow my brains out over it. For example for the RoFo video (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zkT-...=youtube_gdata) I used MAAD City because our mayor is kind of a piece of shit.
Stop using
Nuthin But a 'G' Thang. We need variety.
The third thing you need is the still frame you're going to zoom in on. WLMM is shitty and won't let you do this, so just printscreen from youtube while in fullscreen. (Yeah, I know)
At this point you should have all your materials (video, music, freeze frame), so just plop them into WLMM. You want to clip the source video so it's under 20-30 seconds, but try to keep as much context as possible.
For the freeze frame, drop that screenshot in (yeah I know) and select animations. You can have it zoom in about 0.0001% over a few seconds. Pick a good point for the song to start. You can get to within a millisecond.
The font for "Thug Life" is old english but be creative.
Here's a shot of a video I made when it was ready to upload.

So yeah, that's about it. Some of you all have Adobe After Effects or whatever the Apple default thing is and they are probably infinitely better but gangstas gotta work with what they got.
