Planned Service Outage Notification

We will upgrade our infrastructure soon. During the process, that will take several hours, Safe-mail.net will not be available.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience, but we have outgrown our current system.
The outage will start at: Sunday, 25 May 2014, 03:00 EDT.

One of the issues is that ALL Internet addresses will be changed. Users that use Safe-mail with the Browser, will not have to change anything. As soon as the system will be up again, they will be able to work as usual.
Users of a mail program should check their configuration. If their mail server was defined as pop.safe-mail.net, it should be OK, if there was an IP number instead, it should be changed to pop.safe-mail.net.
Messages sent to Safe-mail users during the outage, will not accepted. Most mail forwarding systems will retry at a later time and will eventually deliver the message.

Users of Safe-Haven (off-shore) should be OK.

Users of Safe-Business (on-shore) should be OK if we register their name and manage it, others should check their DNS. If it was directed to apple.safe-mail.net, they are OK, otherwise, they should change it to apple.safe-mail.net.

Safe-mail.net was created for one purpose - to make Privacy available to anyone, at any time from any location knowing only what any other Internet user knows. This was almost 15 years ago. Today things over the Cyberspace are much worse. Almost anyone could know much more about any individual than that individual knows about himself! An accurate profile is created for any user of the Internet and is being updated constantly.
It will be enough to quote Eric Schmidt: "We Know Where You Are. We Know Where You've Been. We Can More Or Less Know What You're Thinking About." Those words were told almost 4 years ago. Today, Google is not alone and is among those who are more careful compared to many. Google provides services that you pay for with your Privacy. You are just the goods on Google's shelves. When you are using Facebook, Google+ and similar products, your Privacy is hardly protected from any other individual.
Safe-mail.net doesn't collect information, keeps all communication encrypted at all times and as a result, has no income apart from what users pay for the services. Therefore, we urge any user who needs some Privacy, at least at a certain aspect of his life, to become a Premium user.

Our Support and Documentation was not at the level they should have been for too long. We hope to resume proper support and to rewrite our documentation.
