Hello,
Thank you for contacting NameJet about the status of your auction. I'll be happy to explain the process.
Immediately after winning an auction, the domain goes into a holding status until we are able to process the order and charge your account for the payment. This process runs automatically every hour at 20 minutes past the hour. Therefore if your auction closed at half past the hour, NameJet will not attempt to charge your card until that next hour.
At 20 minutes past the next hour, the order processing program will run for all auctions that closed in the previous hour. If we are unable to collect, the status will change to PENDING PAYMENT. We will try again twice a day to collect your auction fees.
Once we successfully bill you for the auction, the status will change to WON and you will receive an email order confirmation. You will receive another email from the sponsoring registrar within the next 72 hours that will provide you with login information necessary to manage your domain.
If you still have a Pending Payment status, and you are sure you have funds to cover your auction fees, you might want to contact your bank to authorize the merchant NameJet. Sometimes they will decline for your protection if the charge is from an unknown company.
I hope this has helped to clarify the process. If this did not answer your question, please let me know.
Thank you for using NameJet for your aftermarket services.
Sincerely,
Ben Y.
