That will probably work, but you will end up with orphaned records in other tables (attachments, threads, subscriptions, etc). You can probably run similar queries to cleanup the orphans, but it could be a mess. Ideally you want to use the mass prune feature in the Admin CP, but you have to do that before deleting the user.

On the other hand, the orphaned records probably won't do any harm.
