1. Login

2. Go to the administration page.

3. Under the forum subsection, you may see Create Categories. Create one if you still haven't

4. In one of the categories you must create a subcategory. You can name it news, updates whatever as you wish

5. After you have created that subcategory, press the edit icon at the right end and then you can choose to have category as open, locked, news or admin

6. Pick News and your done.
